We welcome all people to call First Covenant Church Seattle, “home,” wherever they may be in their faith journey. We are a gathering of people deeply committed to our common faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of all; serving and loving each person as Christ loved us. We strive to embrace the rich diversity of the body of Christ, as we welcome everyone to full participation, membership, and leadership in the life of our church.

Here, we come to join others to proclaim Christ, nurture our faith experiences, and pursue Christ’s call to serve our neighbors, on the block and around the world. Welcome as we worship and experience God alive in the city!
About our denomination
First Covenant Church is a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC), a growing multi-ethnic denomination in the U.S. and Canada with ministries on five continents of the world. Founded in 1885 by Swedish immigrants, the ECC values the Bible as the Word of God, the gift of God’s grace and ever deepening spiritual life that comes through faith in Jesus Christ, the importance of extending God’s love and compassion to a hurting world, and the strength that comes from unity within diversity.
