65th Annual Julfest

More than 300 people were treated to the sights and sounds of this year’s Julfest. String Band tunes, traditional choral music, readings in Swedish and English, delightful songs sung by the Children’s Choir, a lovely Lucia pageant, as well as hymn-singing, provided an afternoon of festive spirit and meaning. The candlelight reception provided Swedish goodies, lingonberry “saft” and coffee — the perfect “fika” and a time for visiting. This longstanding tradition was the perfect start to the Advent season!
