2018 Julfest – Children's Choir Schedule

Please mark your calendars for our annual Julfest Kids Choir and Lucia rehearsals!  All kids ages preschool - 12th grade are welcome to participate in the Kids Choir.  Please help your kids practice at home by listening to the recording on this page.  Let us know if you have any questions!

  • 9 am Kids Julfest Dress Rehearsal in Sanctuary

  • 9:30 am Lucia Dress Rehearsal in Sanctuary (Girls in Kindergarten - 12th grade, Starboys, Readers)

  • 10 am Lucia Robe assignments in Narthex (there are 22 girls and 22 robes, so robes will be assigned by height)

  • 10:15 am String band

  • 10:30 am Choir & String band

  • 10:45 am Choir

Attire

Julfest Kids Choir: A nice top (preferably in white/black/red) and nice pants (dark/navy/khaki) -- no jeans please!
 
If you’re participating in the Lucia pageant as an attendant...
 
If you are in the Lucia Pageant as an attendant, please wear white tights (no socks), white undergarments and a white undershirt.
 
If you’re participating in the Lucia pageant as a Star Boy...
 
If you are a Star Boy, please wear dark pants (navy or black - no jeans!) and a white shirt.
 
If you’re a Scripture reader for Lucia...

wear a nice shirt or sweater and dark pants.

Julfest Children's Choir - Each of the four Children's Choir songs is recorded in the order they appear in the service. In the first file below the songs are sung. In the 2nd file, all of the words are spoken. Listen to Emma sing and speak the words to the songs, so that you can memorize the correct pronunciation in Swedish!
